Assam Govt Organizing Largest Job Mela on 23 December and 4 January 2021

GUWAHATI: In a major relief to the unemployed youth in Assam, the state BJP-led government is organizing a job mela tomorrow, 23 December and 4 January.

According to reports, this mela would be the largest ever job mela in the state.

The job mela will be held at the District Employment Office, Rehabari, Guwahati. All the candidates who passed HSLC and more will be eligible for participating as job seekers in the mela. The mela would be started from 10 am to 4 pm tomorrow.

According to the state government announcement those who have passed HSLC, ITI, BE/BTC, etc, would be eligible for participating in the mela. The government has hoped that it would help reduce the state burgeoning unemployment problem.

The Assam Job Fair would provide employment to educated unemployed inhabitants of the state. Unemployed citizens will be hired based on their educational background. Employers will be able to recruit folks based on their needs at this employment fair. This programme is open to any unemployed individual who is educated. Unemployed persons will be offered job possibilities based on their qualifications. On the designated date, this fair will be held in the districts. Employers and unemployed folks will be on the same footing under this Maha. Citizens and employers can choose each other based on their preferences and needs.
